FELLOWS — Pink

About This Work

FELLOWS — Pink is one of the three officially documented 2026 FELLOWS colorways. The sculpture combines elements of BFF, COMPANION, and CHUM. Medicom Toy lists a height of approximately 285 mm and identifies Black, Blue, and Pink as the release colors.

Image and Composition

The pink version places the pale COMPANION head against BFF’s bright pink fur texture, with further pink and red tones near the feet and circular accents. The soft-looking color does not change the sculptural arrangement: a detached head is held by a body assembled with another character’s arm. That tension between a friendly palette and fragmented anatomy gives the colorway its distinct presence.

The Characters Within FELLOWS

Medicom’s product description identifies BFF’s body, a detached COMPANION head held in its arms, and a CHUM arm at its feet. That distinction matters when reading the work: the held form is a head, rather than a smaller complete COMPANION. The fur-like surface belongs to the sculpted figure and is not a plush textile.

The pose can suggest care, loss, or reconstruction, depending on how the viewer reads the fragments. Those are visual interpretations. A collector can appreciate the close embrace while also recognizing that the sculpture rearranges familiar characters rather than presenting a conventional pair of intact figures.

Release History

Medicom’s July 31 notice announced the three colors for an August 8 release at MEDICOM TOY PLUS in Japan. An August 14 follow-up announced the web allocation for August 22. The notices give a tax-inclusive Japanese price of JPY 55,880 per figure. These are regional release dates and pricing, rather than a claim about the earliest worldwide sale.

Gauntlet’s July preview preserved the initial black announcement. The later official retail notices establish the wider three-color release. A numerical edition cap is not supplied in the reviewed official product record, so none is assigned here.

Presentation and Collector Notes

When comparing a pink FELLOWS, request front, side, reverse, and underside photographs. Pay attention to the long textured limbs, the hands around the held head, and the low components around the feet. These are useful areas for documenting paint wear, rubbing, chips, and any repairs.

Retain the purchase record and any original packaging together. Packaging contents, individual numbering, and signing should be documented for the example being offered rather than inferred from a different KAWS release. Plan shelf clearance around the approximately 285 mm height and allow room to view the figure from more than one angle.
