Frequently Asked
Banksy & Dismaland FAQ
Collector questions answered before you buy.
-
Buy the documented object, not the mythology. Record the exact edition, dimensions, publishing context, condition, invoices, and any authentication correspondence.
-
For Banksy works, use the appropriate authentication route and be skeptical of generic certificates. For exhibition material, prioritize contemporaneous provenance and exact release context.
-
Condition is part of the collectible. Review high-resolution images, ask about prior framing, storage, packaging where relevant, and record all disclosed issues before purchasing Banksy editions and Dismaland material.
