Between The Lines 2
Summary
Between The Lines 2 is a 2010 giclee print by Kai & Sunny on 100% cotton Somerset Enhanced paper in an edition of 3. The unframed sheet measures 88 by 126.5 cm, presented framed in black-stained oak at 103 by 142 cm, continuing the trio's large-scale meditation on line, layering, and interval.
Why It Matters
As the middle work in the Between The Lines sequence, it extends the series' investigation of what happens in the spaces between drawn lines. An edition of only 3 makes each impression a near-unique large-format object within Kai & Sunny's catalogue.
Collector Perspective
Three impressions total means genuine rarity, and the piece gains further appeal for collectors assembling the complete three-part set. Its scale, archival cotton paper, and oak studio framing position it as a centrepiece work rather than an entry-level acquisition.
Historical Context
Produced in 2010, Between The Lines 2 reflects Kai & Sunny's use of giclee printing to achieve fine, dense linework at monumental dimensions. Building numbered series around a shared motif was central to their studio approach during this period.

Their editions are published in tightly controlled runs and have been exhibited internationally.
