Richard Avedon / Paul McCartney — Paul McCartney 1967 Stern Poster, Linen-Backed Original · 1967
Original 1967 Stern printing, linen-backed
The Piece
Richard Avedon's 1967 portrait of Paul McCartney from the Stern magazine printing — an original poster from the defining psychedelic image series of the Beatles era, linen-backed for preservation.
The Stern printings are the sought-after European originals of Avedon's Beatles series. Linen backing stabilizes the paper for framing and long-term display — this is how serious poster collectors want them.
