Summary

Wave Blend is a 2018 hand-pulled six-color screen print on 100% cotton Somerset satin 310gsm, tub sized, with a hand-deckled bottom edge. Square at 57 x 57 cm (22.5 x 22.5 inches) in an edition of 100, it is signed, numbered and stamped, and centers on the duo's recurring wave imagery.

Why It Matters

Wave Blend is a clean representative of Kai & Sunny's core wave motif in their standard 57 x 57 cm square format. The six-color build supports the blended, gradient-like transitions the title implies, and the moderate edition of 100 keeps it within a broadly collectible range on premium Somerset stock.

Collector Perspective

At 100 impressions in a display-friendly square, this is an accessible entry into the duo's wave series. Collectors should check the smoothness of the color blends and the integrity of the deckled edge. The signed, numbered, and stamped front provides the standard authentication trail for the duo's editions.

Historical Context

Wave imagery is a defining thread across Kai & Sunny's output, tied to their interest in natural motion. Produced in 2018 on Somerset satin, Wave Blend belongs to the sequence of square editions the duo built around this recurring theme.
