Hand-Signed by Shepard Fairey · Speckletone Paper · Verisart Authenticated
What You Are Getting
An authentic Shepard Fairey "OBEY Deco Floral Pattern (Blue)" screen print, released by Obey Giant on April 18, 2024, in a hand-signed and hand-numbered limited edition of 275. The print measures 18 × 24 inches on heavy cream Speckletone fine art paper, featuring Fairey's signature art deco-inspired wallpaper pattern in a refined two-tone blue palette with the iconic OBEY star-face medallion integrated into the central floral motif.
This print is hand-signed in graphite by Shepard Fairey in the lower right margin, dated '24, and hand-numbered 118/275 in pencil in the lower left margin. The edition sold out instantly upon release at the Obey Giant store (original retail $50) and has become a secondary market staple for collectors of contemporary street art and Fairey's pattern work.
Condition note (priced accordingly): There is a small surface tear / paper abrasion in the upper portion of the print (clearly visible in the detail photographs). This is a cosmetic flaw, not a structural tear through the sheet, but it is honestly disclosed and reflected in the asking price — this is a buyer's opportunity to own a sold-out Fairey edition at meaningful savings relative to a mint example.

⚠ Full Disclosure: Condition
This print has a small surface tear / paper abrasion in the upper portion of the sheet — visible in the high-resolution detail photographs included in this listing. The print is otherwise in excellent condition: colors are crisp, signature is bold, numbering is clean, edges are straight, and the sheet has been flat-stored since acquisition.
This flaw is priced into the listing — expect to pay roughly 40-50% less than a mint example. With professional matting, the affected area can often be cropped or minimized under the mat lip. No returns on this flaw since it is fully disclosed and photographed. Please review all images carefully before purchase and message with any questions.
About the Work
"OBEY Deco Floral Pattern" was released by Obey Giant as a two-print, two-colorway set (Red & Blue) on April 18, 2024, in matching editions of 275 each. The work represents the culmination of more than two decades of Fairey's pattern-making practice, which began as a decorative device for his fine art backgrounds and large-scale modular street installations and evolved into a standalone design discipline within his studio.
In the artist's own words, the pattern "takes its inspiration from early Art Deco, which retained some of the curves of the Art Nouveau style but evolved it to be more simple and structured." The result is a rhythmic tile that works both as a repeating wallpaper element and as a self-contained fine art image, with the OBEY star-face medallion integrated as a subtle rosette within the central bloom.
The print is accompanied by a Verisart digital certificate of authenticity (standard issue with all Obey Giant releases from this period), which can be transferred to the new owner upon request.
About Shepard Fairey
Frank Shepard Fairey (born February 15, 1970) is an American contemporary artist, graphic designer, and illustrator who emerged from the skateboarding scene in the late 1980s. He first rose to wider attention through his "André the Giant Has a Posse" sticker campaign, which evolved into the globally recognized OBEY brand. His 2008 "Hope" poster of Barack Obama became one of the most widely reproduced political images in American history.
Fairey's work is held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), and the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential contemporary street artists working today, and his signed editions from Obey Giant remain a core part of the street art collecting category.
