BAPE CAMO SHARK: read the BE@RBRICK three-piece declaration

The BAPE CAMO SHARK MCT 30th Anniversary title explicitly says “3 PCS SET.” That statement should remain visible even though the title lists only two nominal sizes, 100% and 400%.

Size categories and piece quantities answer different questions. Two sizes do not automatically mean two figures, just as three listed color options do not automatically mean one three-color pack.

Read the explicit set wording

Medicom’s anniversary announcement specifies the three-piece set, approximately 70 and 280 mm nominal heights, a ¥30,800 tax-included quote, and a July 25, 2026 planned release. It connects the product with Medicom Toy’s 30th-anniversary exhibition and describes advance sale at the event.

That supports the declared package quantity and sales context. If you need an exact character-by-size breakdown, inspect the official imagery and ask for an itemized contents description. The two size labels alone cannot tell you how the third piece is distributed.

Three choices are a different arrangement

The earlier BAPE CAMO page lists GREEN, BLUE, and PINK options at 100%, with separate product identifiers and a ¥1,575 tax-included amount for each. It gives a January 28, 2012 planned release.

That announcement’s three colors are options, not evidence that its quoted amount buys all three. The later source explicitly declares a three-piece set. Reading the purchase wording establishes the difference; counting the colors or size labels would not.

This distinction is especially useful when a seller photographs several examples together. A group photograph can show available choices. It can also show a complete pack. Only the actual offer and original configuration tell you which interpretation applies.

Keep the anniversary identity specific

MCT 30th Anniversary identifies the occasion named in this announcement. Preserve it rather than replacing it with an unqualified “BAPE anniversary” label. An anniversary number must stay with the organization and context the source supplies.

Likewise, the exhibition association does not disclose a production quantity. A three-piece package describes what is in a purchase; it does not mean three examples were made or establish the edition size of any component.

If your collecting target is the complete anniversary set, ask the seller to show and name all three figures. If you accept selected components, record them as components of the source configuration, with your own purchase amount kept separate.

The original set quote should not be allocated into invented standalone retail prices. Its purpose in your notes is to preserve the original announced transaction, not to prescribe how each component should trade later.

The useful lesson is narrow and practical: read “each,” “option,” and “set” before turning a page into a shopping list. In these BAPE examples, that wording determines whether three describes available colors or the contents of one documented purchase.
