2017 Halloween BE@RBRICK: separate sizes and packaging

October 18, 2026

The 2017 Halloween 100% and 400% BE@RBRICKs share a candy-and-sweets theme, but Medicom documents them as separately listed products. Matching names, schedules, and visual themes do not automatically establish a mixed-size original set.

For a seasonal collection, the two announcements are useful because they preserve differences in price, packaging, and sales wording alongside the common theme.

Compare the separate specifications

The 100% announcement specifies approximately 70 mm height, a ¥1,500 before-tax quote, and blister packaging. The 400% announcement specifies approximately 280 mm, a ¥7,800 before-tax quote, and closed-box packaging.

Both carry September 2017 planned release/shipping wording. Their product names use Halloween, but the stated schedule is not an October 31 release date. Keep the announced month rather than replacing it with the holiday’s calendar date.

Field 100% 400%
Approximate height 70 mm 280 mm
Original quote ¥1,500 before tax ¥7,800 before tax
Named packaging Blister Closed box

Those packaging statements belong to these specific announcements. They should not be treated as universal rules for every Halloween BE@RBRICK or every release at either size.

Make your own pairing explicit

A collector can choose to pursue both sizes as a personal themed pair. Record that as two source-linked targets, then track whether each has been acquired. A seller can also bundle them later without changing the original manufacturer configurations.

Use the 100% detail and 400% detail in the BE@RBRICK Master Index. A title saying only “2017 Halloween set” should prompt a contents question: is it a seller-created bundle of the two documented products?

The distinction matters if one figure is missing its original packaging. A matched theme does not mean packaging can be exchanged between nominal sizes or that one box proves the contents of a two-figure purchase.

Preserve the year in a seasonal search

Halloween is a recurring subject. Keep 2017 with the exact size when searching the catalog or reviewing seller photographs. A generic Halloween reference can cross into other annual designs and announcements.

The candy-and-sweets description is supported by these source pages. A more detailed claim about a particular graphic placement should come from checking the exact images, especially when the offered object is photographed from only one side.

The original prices do not establish which size is rarer, which should appreciate, or how much a surviving packaged example should sell for today. Keep any current offer in a separate, dated purchase comparison.

For a seasonal collection, the original packaging difference can be part of your interest rather than an inconvenience to erase. It gives each acquisition a documented format within the shared theme.

Choose one size or build your own pair. Retain the separate source identities and actual purchase contents so the word “set” continues to describe a real transaction rather than an assumption based on matching artwork.
