PEPSI NEX Star Wars BE@RBRICKs: a 70% collection

October 18, 2026

The PEPSI NEX Star Wars promotion documents 70% BE@RBRICKs, approximately 50 mm tall, associated with qualifying beverage bottles. A collector should keep those miniatures separate from larger Star Wars retail releases, even when the character names overlap.

The official archive supplies a bounded checklist for this campaign. That is a more useful starting point than treating “small Star Wars bear” as a precise identity.

Follow the campaign’s own specification

The Medicom official-store archive describes one figure accompanying a 500 ml PEPSI NEX bottle, a planned early-July 2008 rollout, and 16 named 70% designs. It states that the campaign ended as eligible stock ran out.

The named designs include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Jango Fett, TIE Fighter Pilot, Jawa, Imperial Logo, Yoda, C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Wicket, two episode-designated Clone Troopers, and Rebel Alliance Logo.

That list is a campaign specification. It does not establish equal production quantities, a random distribution probability, or how many figures any particular retailer received.

Turn the named list into a personal checklist

Create one row per named design and retain the episode wording for the two Clone Troopers. Keep logo designs in the list as named campaign entries rather than dropping them because they are not character portraits.

The BE@RBRICK Master Index provides source-linked records for this research snapshot. Use the exact names and original source when checking your own holdings; a search-result count is not a substitute for reconciling the documented campaign list.

Mark owned, wanted, and uncertain examples separately. If an identification remains unclear, save photographs and the seller’s wording rather than forcing the item into the nearest familiar character name.

A familiar character can belong to another format

Medicom’s separate Darth Vader and Stormtrooper two-pack announcement specifies 100% figures at approximately 70 mm each and quotes ¥3,000 before tax. Its October 2017 planned release wording belongs to that retail announcement.

Those references should not be used as the original specification or retail price for the PEPSI miniatures. Character overlap connects your collecting interest; size and distribution context distinguish the products.

The promotional bottle arrangement also does not supply a standalone figure MSRP. If you paid a reseller for one miniature or a seller-assembled group, record that transaction separately from the original campaign terms.

Define completion within the campaign

You can use the 16 names in this specific official source as your campaign checklist. That is a bounded completeness claim. It is not a checklist of every PEPSI collaboration or every Star Wars BE@RBRICK ever made.

Ask a seller to itemize a claimed complete group, including the logo entries and both Clone Trooper designations. A photograph of many small figures is less useful than a reconciled list.

The campaign’s scale and bottle distribution give the collection its identity. Preserve both, and the familiar characters become exact targets rather than miniature versions assumed to share every specification of a larger retail release.
