Gauntlet Gallery — D*Face Print Index
Wild D*Face Flower
Summary
Wild D*Face Flower is a 2024 Corey Helford Gallery release, a collaboration between Kai & Sunny and D*Face. It combines a hand-pulled four-colour screen print with an acrylic-sprayed icon on Colorplan white 800gsm at 84 x 49.5cm. Issued as a unique multiple of just 4, each is signed by both artists.
Why It Matters
A unique multiple of 4 is exceptionally rare, and the hand-finished acrylic-sprayed icon means no two impressions are identical. This blend of editioned screen printing and individual handwork makes each example a one-of-a-kind object. The three-way creative pairing with Kai & Sunny adds further collector significance beyond a standard D*Face drop.
Collector Perspective
With only four examples and unique hand-finishing on each, this sits at the top of the scarcity spectrum. Collectors should treat the acrylic-sprayed element as integral and inspect it closely, since it defines the individual character of each piece. The heavy 800gsm Colorplan stock and dual-artist signatures, with a front stamp bottom right, complete the authentication picture.
Historical Context
Kai & Sunny's intricate line-based practice pairs distinctively with D*Face's bold iconography, and Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles has hosted numerous contemporary editions of this kind. The unique-multiple format reflects a broader movement in editioned art toward hand-finished, quasi-original works that blur the line between print and painting.

About the Artist
D*Face is the working name of Dean Stockton (born 1978, London), a British street artist and a leading figure in the UK urban-contemporary scene. Drawing on comic books, pop art, skate graphics, and consumer iconography, he developed a signature cast of characters — winged "D*Dog" motifs, skull-faced pin-ups, and subverted Americana — rendered in bold, Lichtenstein-indebted lines. From stickers and street work in the early 2000s, he built a substantial studio practice of paintings, sculpture, and signed prints, founded the StolenSpace Gallery in London, and has collaborated widely across music and fashion.
Collecting D*Face at Gauntlet Gallery
Which D*Face works should I collect?
His signed, numbered screenprints — especially hand-finished and low-edition works — are the collectible core, prized for bold pop imagery. Look for clean condition and the artist's signature. Gauntlet Gallery prioritizes complete, well-documented impressions.
How is a D*Face piece authenticated?
We sell his works with documented provenance and the edition's signature and numbering. Each piece is photographed as-is, including signature and edition details, so you can verify before purchase.
What drives value?
Edition size, hand-embellishment, iconic imagery, condition, and provenance all shape value. Low-numbered, hand-finished, and larger works command the strongest premiums.
