Together they reimagine the OBEY Andre face through the kaleidoscopic, blotter-art lens of 1960s psychedelia, a grid of repeating icons rendered in swirling, saturated color that recalls the perforated sheets of counterculture history.
The pairing is a meeting of two generations of West Coast image-makers, with Fairey's brand iconography filtered through Van Hamersveld's psychedelic vocabulary.
