Run Away (First Edition)
Summary
'Run Away' is a 2020 StolenSpace screen print, a 10-colour edition on 370gsm Lambeth Drawing Cartridge at 70 x 100cm. Signed, numbered, and blind-stamped in an edition of 150, it is a large-format image from D*Face's consistent 2020 print program.
Why It Matters
The 10-colour hand-screened build on heavyweight Lambeth cartridge and the full signed, numbered, and blind-stamped authentication place 'Run Away' among D*Face's solidly produced large-format editions. At 150 impressions and a full metre in one dimension, it delivers scale and presence for collectors of his paper work.
Collector Perspective
Collectors value the triple authentication, the archival 370gsm stock, and the tight edition of 150. The 70 x 100cm scale calls for careful framing and margin preservation. As a StolenSpace release, it carries the gallery's established provenance, easing verification for prospective buyers.
Historical Context
Released in 2020, 'Run Away' sits within the same StolenSpace large-format, high-colour-count program that produced several of D*Face's Lambeth cartridge editions that year. Its consistent specifications, signed, numbered, blind-stamped, reflect the standardised production values of his mature gallery print output.

About the Artist
D*Face is the working name of Dean Stockton (born 1978, London), a British street artist and a leading figure in the UK urban-contemporary scene. Drawing on comic books, pop art, skate graphics, and consumer iconography, he developed a signature cast of characters — winged "D*Dog" motifs, skull-faced pin-ups, and subverted Americana — rendered in bold, Lichtenstein-indebted lines. From stickers and street work in the early 2000s, he built a substantial studio practice of paintings, sculpture, and signed prints, founded the StolenSpace Gallery in London, and has collaborated widely across music and fashion.
Collecting D*Face at Gauntlet Gallery
Which D*Face works should I collect?
His signed, numbered screenprints — especially hand-finished and low-edition works — are the collectible core, prized for bold pop imagery. Look for clean condition and the artist's signature. Gauntlet Gallery prioritizes complete, well-documented impressions.
How is a D*Face piece authenticated?
We sell his works with documented provenance and the edition's signature and numbering. Each piece is photographed as-is, including signature and edition details, so you can verify before purchase.
What drives value?
Edition size, hand-embellishment, iconic imagery, condition, and provenance all shape value. Low-numbered, hand-finished, and larger works command the strongest premiums.
