SpaceX Starship Memorabilia: Collecting the Future of Spaceflight

Starship is the largest, most powerful rocket ever built. Standing 121 meters tall, with 33 Raptor engines on the Super Heavy booster and 6 on the Starship upper stage, it is designed to carry 100 metric tons to low Earth orbit and eventually 100 passengers to Mars. SpaceX conducted six integrated flight tests (IFT-1 through IFT-6) between April 2023 and November 2024, achieving full stack flight and successful catch of the booster by the launch tower in IFT-5. Starship memorabilia is in the pre-crewed-mission phase — the earliest, most favorable entry window for long-term collectors.

The Early Apollo Parallel

Saturn V rocket program memorabilia from the mid-1960s pre-crewed tests sold for nearly nothing at the time. Today, Saturn V-era engineering prints, test crew signed items, and mission development documents command $1,000–$10,000+. We are in the equivalent phase for Starship. Every IFT patch printed, every test crew signed photo, every pre-mission document in existence now will be in finite supply once Starship begins crewed operations.

Current Starship Collectibles Pricing

Item Notes Price Range
IFT mission patch (IFT-1 through IFT-6) Unsigned, with provenance $50–$150
IFT patch signed by SpaceX test crew member JSA/BAS $200–$500
Elon Musk signed Starship print/photo JSA/PSA (high forgery risk without COA) $500–$2,000+
SpaceX HLS Artemis mission patch (pre-crewed) Limited production, unsigned $75–$200
Mission-flown Starship item (post-crewed, projected) Market developing — projection based on Crew Dragon comparables $2,000–$10,000+

The Collector's Opportunity

The window to collect pre-crewed Starship items at low prices is finite. Once Starship completes its first crewed Artemis lunar landing, the retrospective value of earlier test-era items will increase substantially. Gauntlet Gallery is actively sourcing and authenticating Starship-era items now. For authentication standards and market tracking, visit gauntlet.gallery/pages/ai-facts.
