Tom and Jerry Classic Color BE@RBRICKs: standard and Flocky

October 18, 2026

“Classic Color” and “Flocky” describe different layers of a Tom and Jerry BE@RBRICK title. Classic Color identifies the named color version; Flocky adds a further treatment designation. A collector needs both, along with the character and size, to identify the intended release.

Medicom documents separate Tom and Jerry sets in both groups. That produces four specific reference targets before you even consider other sizes or character crossovers.

Separate the characters from the treatment

The Tom Classic Color page and Jerry Classic Color page each describe a 100% and 400% configuration. Each quotes ¥13,200 including tax with January 2023 planned release/shipping wording.

The later Tom Classic Color Flocky page and Jerry counterpart retain the mixed-size format. Each quotes ¥21,780 including tax with August 2024 planned release wording and describes an advance-sale exhibition context.

These are separately documented sets. A Tom set does not include the Jerry set merely because both characters appear in the franchise name.

Make a deliberate pairing

A character-pair collection can choose Tom and Jerry within the same named treatment. A treatment comparison can choose one character across the two groups. Those are different collecting projects, and both become clearer when the reference titles remain complete.

The BE@RBRICK Master Index provides exact details for Classic Color Tom and Classic Color Flocky Tom, with separate records for Jerry. Save the one you mean when requesting seller photographs.

If you want both complete character sets, ask the seller to itemize all included figures. A picture of Tom and Jerry at one size does not establish two complete mixed-size sets. The transaction description needs to specify the smaller components as well.

Keep treatment labels within their evidence

The Flocky designation is supported by the official titles. It does not, by itself, disclose the exact fiber composition, adhesive system, or a safe cleaning procedure. Avoid turning a product-name comparison into an unsupported conservation recommendation.

For a used example, request photographs that show the actual surface and any areas the seller identifies as damaged. Compare the offered object with the precise reference rather than expecting a generic Tom and Jerry image to identify the treatment.

The difference between the original quoted amounts describes the announced packages. It does not establish a current premium or guarantee that one treatment retains value better. Current offers need their own dated, condition-specific comparison.

Keep the collecting matrix small and explicit: character, Classic Color, Flocky status, and configuration. Those fields let you build a coherent pair or a focused treatment study without combining four different targets under “Tom and Jerry set.”
