Work Summary & Collector Notes

Face To D*Face (2023) is a StolenSpace sculptural edition rather than a print: mixed media on hand-lacquered A-grade plywood with a solid steel inlay, measuring 28 x 31 x 9cm. Limited to 50 uniquely numbered examples, each carries an etched steel plaque and arrives in a foam-lined box with a dual-signed COA, tote bag and stickers.

Collector notes: First Edition; saved release record states an edition size of 50. The saved release record describes: numbered. Verify each feature against a documented example of this edition.

Why It Matters

As a three-dimensional mixed-media object, this edition stands apart from D*Face's paper output and appeals to collectors seeking sculpture. The hand-lacquered plywood, solid steel inlay and etched steel plaque give it substantial material presence and craft. An edition of 50 with a full accompanying package makes it a considered, collectible release.

Collector Perspective

The lacquered surface and steel inlay reward careful, dust-free handling.

Historical Context

Face To D*Face translates the artist's flat iconography into a physical object, part of a broader trend among street-derived artists moving into sculpture and multiples. StolenSpace, his own gallery, is the natural home for such an ambitious editioned release, and the full box presentation reflects the collectible-object approach common to premium 2020s art drops.
