The Work

Green Power Factory channels Fairey's long-running environmental advocacy into a vision of industry retooled for sustainability. The imagery reimagines the factory, that classic emblem of extraction and pollution, as an engine of clean, renewable energy, arguing through picture that progress and stewardship need not be opposed.

Produced as a letterpress edition, the print carries the tactile, impressed character of the process, its ink pressed into cream stock for a crafted, physical surface. Fairey's ornamental framing and industrial-poster typography lend the piece the authority of a mid-century public campaign, repurposed here toward an ecological message.
