Dismaland 2015 Souvenir Stencil Canvas

Numbered 1/10 • Dismaland Bemusement Park Stamp • Original Admission Ticket Included

A spray-stencil canvas from Banksy’s Dismaland (Weston-super-Mare, Aug–Sep 2015) — honestly described, transparently attributed.

What You Are Getting

A two-color spray-paint stencil on stretched canvas depicting a bandana-masked young woman beside the slogan “If You Want To Achieve Greatness Stop Asking For Permission.” The verso carries the Dismaland Bemusement Park stamp, hand-numbering 1/10, and the handwritten inscription “Banksy in Dismal!!” on the lower stretcher bar. Accompanying the canvas is an original See Tickets Dismaland general admission ticket (personal details redacted) from the park’s five-week 2015 run — period provenance that most of these canvases lack.

About the Work — The Honest Version

Dismaland was Banksy’s dystopian “bemusement park” — five weeks in 2015, 58 artists, 150,000+ visitors, and one of the most talked-about art events of the decade. Spray-stencil canvases like this one circulated at and around the park and have traded on the secondary market ever since.

Two things every buyer deserves to know. First: the image itself is a version of American street artist Eddie Colla’s 2009 piece Ambition — one of the most frequently Banksy-misattributed stencils in street art (a misattribution so common it once appeared on major retail sites labeled as Banksy). Second: Pest Control, Banksy’s sole authentication body, does not certify Dismaland souvenir items, and we make no claim that this canvas was executed by Banksy. We sell it for exactly what it is: a numbered, park-stamped artifact of the Dismaland moment, with period ticket provenance — a conversation piece from a legendary event, priced accordingly.

About Dismaland

Billed as “the UK’s most disappointing new visitor attraction,” Dismaland took over the derelict Tropicana lido on the Weston-super-Mare seafront. Curated by Banksy and featuring Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer, Jeff Gillette, and dozens more, it generated an estimated £20 million for the local economy and sold out tickets in minutes — with resale asks reportedly reaching £1,500. Original ephemera from the park’s brief run remains actively collected.
