The sheet incorporates an authentic 1969 United States 10¢ Air Mail “First Man on the Moon” postage stamp affixed at upper right, and carries printed Apollo 11 crew signatures — Buzz Aldrin (blue), Neil Armstrong, and Michael Collins. The verso bears two ink stamps associated with The Estate of Andy Warhol (an oval “Authenticated — The Estate of Andy Warhol” stamp and a round monogram stamp). About the Work

The image belongs to Warhol’s space-age motif — the same lunar-astronaut subject he returned to across the 1980s, most famously in his 1987 “Moonwalk” screenprints. The print sheet has a small surface dent / ding near the top-center and light handling. The verso shows an aged, torn paper dust backing and aged tape. Displayed under glass in the original vintage frame.
