Shepard Fairey
OBEY Giant Art — authenticated signed screen prints, political works, and music posters from one of America's most important living artists.
Shepard Fairey — OBEY Giant Art
Shepard Fairey (b. 1970, Charleston, SC) is one of America's most influential political and street artists, whose career spans three decades bridging graphic design, activism, and fine art. The OBEY GIANT campaign — launched at RISD in 1989 — evolved from a subversive sticker into a globally recognized visual vocabulary. His 2008 "HOPE" poster became one of the most reproduced political artworks in American history. Fairey's prints are held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, LACMA, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Fairey does not use third-party authentication services — OBEY Giant Art studio documentation is the accepted authentication standard. Gauntlet Gallery sources all Fairey works with full studio provenance.
